Neighbour

Neighbour is exactly what the name suggests, a friendly little local café on Hakanoa Street in Grey Lynn that has quickly become part of our morning routine. It is open early through to early afternoon, so it is an easy one to swing by for a coffee on a weekday or a relaxed weekend wander. The coffee is really the draw here, done well every time, and the whole place has that warm, unfussy neighbourhood feel that makes you want to stand around and chat for a bit.

They are lovely with dogs, too. Bentley gets a proper welcome every time, and he is more than happy to come along for the walk and the coffee run. A great little Grey Lynn spot for a good cup and a friendly hello with your dog in tow.
