Avodi

Avodi is a relatively new little café tucked away on Mackelvie Street, and we absolutely love it. Opened in December 2025, it already has that warm, inviting, cosy feel that makes you want to settle in for a coffee, breakfast, or a quiet catch-up on some work. The menu is fully vegetarian, with plenty of delicious options that feel fresh, thoughtful, and genuinely satisfying.

It is also super dog-friendly, inside and out. Bentley feels right at home here, and the team are lovely with dogs, which makes the whole visit feel easy and relaxed. A great little Grey Lynn spot for good coffee, good food, and a comfortable visit with your dog.
